Yes, I am blogging about Dairy Queen. It is because Josie got to walk up and order from there today. She was so excited. We have decided at therapy that she has conquered the cane walking in the controlled gym environment. Now she needs to use her skills in real life. Today she walked down the walk way by therapy, we drove up the hill and parked in front of DQ. From the car she walked up to the window and ordered. She was so cute and Sylwia was brave to do it. Next week we will hit Subway, Rite Aid, grocery store, etc so we can perfect this cane thing. As soon as we do, Przemek will probably pull the canes and we begin a new journey again. Exciting stuff.
